a happy list // vol. 6

yet another happy list hitting the blog today…since I started doing these at the beginning of the summer I truly have noticed how much more grateful I’ve been and also how I’m always looking for things to be grateful for-and you guys know how many random little things I put on here, and thats just the beauty of being grateful-you can be grateful for literally anything and everything. as school is now a part of day-to-day life, and I’m back in a routine, it’s been great to have more time to sit down and write!

the weather has been so amazing-i’ve spent hours outside writing and just swinging and listening to music. I’m watching the leaves fall and change and even though I’m sad summer is over, fall is definitely the prettiest season 😉 and now that Labor Day weekend is over, it really feels like we’re done with summer 😭 so this is kinda a happy sad list 😂

• started tutorial! this has been so much fun the past month and i’m really enjoying getting to connect with new people and also with my friends more that I did during the summer
• youth group has started as well!  our worship team is growing and a few of my close friends are joining, so I am very excited about that! i’m also moving into more of a worship leader position on the team which i’m happy about, and I love getting to see other engaging in worship with us :))
• free time! you might be like…wait ur homeschooled and just got off summer break wdym free team ofc you have free time…but by this I mostly mean sitting on my swing listening to Thomas Rhett, Cole Swindell and Morgan Wallen lol
• sunsets <3 no further explanation needed
• when your best friends come to your soccer games to cheer you on 
• soccer season is about halfway over and i’m sad but have also had an amazing season and love playing so much 🙂 plus when your friends keep coming to cheer you on makes it ever better 😉
• the first neighborhood bonfire of the season + smores + swinging and screaming Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen lyrics at 10 pm with one of my besties that I just played soccer against 
• my little brother got baptized last Sunday! it was super cool and it was also great to hang out at our grandparents house all weekend since the whole fam was in town 🙂
• target practice in the woods lol
• when your whole friend group is so not photogenic but then you also have a ton of silly pictures 
• at youth group I was trying to teach some of my guy friends to skateboard and they were in boots and their feet were as big as the board 
• getting back into a routine for the day, and having stuff to do consistently instead of last minute and nothing 😂
• going to the waterpark with my friends on monday which was SO much fun
• lunch at the waterpark….which was basically all of us getting covered I pizza sauce and laughing our heads off
• cramming 5 people into a tube 🤭😏
• getting thrown down the lazy river and getting slammed into a wall xd
• getting promoted to team captain on the soccer team 🙂
• glow parties and hilarious photo ops pretending to be “pinterest girls” lol
• pre-rehearsal ping pong tournaments 😂
• labor day weekend with family 🙂
• corn hole competitions that moved into ping pong tournaments that turned into pickle ball tournaments 😂
• chasing little cousins around in tickle fights and throwing them in the pool 🤣
• downtown brunch dates 🙂
• cupcake fights and smashing cupcakes in each others faces
• inside jokes about how bad I am at math 🤣😭
• 9:00 school days in my room listening to musiccccccc
• fall festivalsssss 🤭
• the amazing weather in middle tn this week 🤭😆 i’ve spent almost all day outside and its so beautiful
• youth group 🙂 always the main highlight of my week 😉
• family walks downtown after soccer 🙂

fall is finally here, and I don’t know about you but I’m super excited! I say that summer is my favorite season….but then fall rolls around and everything is cozy and warm and smells and tastes like pumpkin… 🤭
